Prohibition Dinner

  • Lark 60 S. Main St. Janesville, WI, 53545 United States (map)

Our Prohibition Dinner is back!

Put on your gangster and moll duds and get ready for a fun evening out at Lark to celebrate the end of Prohibition. Join us for a five-course, five-cocktail dinner featuring a talk by Robert Bier, a Janesville native who along with a dedicated team of volunteers, is documenting Rock County's brewing history. Robert will be sharing a presentation on prohibition to include the local and national events leading up to the passing of the 18th Amendment in 1919, the impact of prohibition in Janesville, and how the post-prohibition landscape (1933) put an end to Janesville's brewing industry

Menu consists of Deviled Crab, Potatoes & Cheese, Mushroom Bisque, Kentucky Hot Brown and Ice Box Cake. Each course will be paired with a cocktail.

This is a reservation-only dinner.

*Note: The presentation can only be accessed via a QR code so please bring a smart phone or tablet!
